South Savo Wellbeing Services Eloisa is seeking a social worker for a fixed-term position in disability customer support in Savonlinna from June 12, 2026, to January 31, 2027. Disability services are part of the social services sector and are responsible for services under the Disability Services Act throughout South Savo Wellbeing Services. The job includes service guidance and counseling in disability services, assessment of service needs for clients, preparation of customer plans, decisions and implementation under the Disability Services Act, as well as their evaluation. Additionally, the role involves assessing, deciding on, and preparing plans for informal caregiver support. The primary work location is Savonlinna, but the position requires flexible travel within the Savonlinna area, especially to Puumala, Kerimäki, Sulkava, Enonkoski, and Rantasalmi. We expect a proactive and development-oriented approach, customer focus, good communication skills, and readiness for official duties. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, with close cooperation with other service areas.
