We still have a few summer jobs available for nurses or students in the field. Are you the person we are looking for who wants to do meaningful work in clients' homes? Our clients are elderly, convalescents, multi-ill, and disabled persons who need care and attention due to declining physical and/or mental capacity. The work aims to enable a safe, personalized life at home. The work is varied and mobile, meeting clients in their own homes. Clients are met on foot, by bike, car, or public transport. As a nurse, your work emphasizes expertise in nursing and medication, but above all, holistic client care. In your summer job: - participate in daily care and basic treatment - promote clients' well-being and rehabilitation - perform and evaluate medication and nursing procedures - handle doctor consultations and emergencies - plan and evaluate care together with the client, relatives, and team - collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support practical nurses in nursing questions - record in the Apotti patient information system. What is required? Education: - You have graduated as a nurse/health nurse and have registration with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira), or - You are a nursing/health student with at least 140 credits and have completed studies in pharmacology, internal medicine, anatomy, and physiology. Other requirements: - Medication licenses must be completed successfully during the trial period - Occupational health assessment of work ability - Substance abuse test certificate - Tuberculosis screening as per the Infectious Diseases Act - Criminal record extract if the employment lasts over three months within a year (law on social and health care supervision 741/2023, section 28). Desirable: - Experience in home care - Student internship in a similar environment - Valid medication and vaccination licenses - Familiarity with Rover and Apotti - B-class driving license and driving skills with a manual car.
