Job Description
Kainuu Vocational College is seeking a fixed-term, part-time agriculture professional instructor from August 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. The duties include guiding students in horticulture, flower, and garden trade tasks, as well as other current horticultural activities at Seppälä training farm and green areas. Applicants are required to have suitable education in horticulture and work experience. Experience in guiding students or other customer groups is appreciated. If no qualified applicants are available, consideration may be given to unqualified applicants. Priority will be given to laid-off employees and those whose employment has been interrupted within the City of Kajaani, provided they meet the qualification requirements. The salary is according to KVTES, with a base salary of €2,965.26 plus possible experience-based allowances. The position is part-time at 60%, with a workweek of 22.95 hours. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under Act 504/2002 and, upon request, a substance abuse test certificate. The position has a six-month probation period.
