Paramedic for temporary work in Kainuu - ONNI

We are currently seeking basic and advanced level paramedics for temporary work in the Kainuu region. In Kainuu, we provide emergency services with four basic-level ambulances, which are on standby daily from 7 am to 9 pm. Our bases are located in Kajaani, Sotkamo, Kuhmo, and Suomussalmi. Our tasks include A–D class emergency missions assigned by the emergency center and field commander, as well as support tasks for home hospital. What does the job require? In addition to suitable education, we require a willingness to perform work carefully and with quality. We value a collegial approach and excellent interaction and cooperation skills. In emergency medical work, the ability to act quickly in changing situations, stress tolerance, and good customer service attitude are emphasized. We also appreciate flexibility and a desire to develop your professional skills. Qualifications? Basic level paramedics must have a basic level paramedic, a practical nurse oriented to emergency care, a medical dispatcher-driver, or a nurse qualification. The nurse must be oriented towards acute care work and have experience in acute care. Advanced level paramedics must have a Bachelor of Health Care in emergency care or a nurse qualification and 30 credits of additional training at the advanced level. Additionally, we require: - Good Finnish language skills - BC1 driving license - Sote professional card - LOVe medication licenses (which can also be obtained with us) - Completion of care obligation test - Vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act - Consent to a brief security clearance. Experience with the Kejo information system and previous emergency work are considered an advantage. Our greatest strength is our fantastic team, and we would like you to join us! We pay you according to your experience in healthcare, with a basic salary of €14.47 - €16.35/hour or advanced level €16.62 - €18.78/hour + shift allowances.
