Site Engineering Manager – Luulaja, Ruotsi - Vimpro Oy

OakWood is seeking an experienced Site Engineering Manager for a long-term project in Luleå, Northern Sweden. This role is suitable for someone with strong experience in coordinating construction, design, and contracting in demanding building, industrial, or factory environments. The role involves serving as a key link between the construction site, design, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Start: Summer 2026 Duration: approximately 3 years Responsibilities include: Ensuring smooth progress of design and contracting activities on-site through collaboration with various parties Guiding design from the perspective of the construction site to ensure feasibility and correctness Reporting the site status clearly to different stakeholders Acting as a general expert on the implementation of the project on-site Identifying and raising issues related to design, schedules, work phases, or implementation in a timely manner Facilitating effective collaboration between the client, designers, contractors, and other project parties Making daily decisions on-site based on current information, good coordination, and practical feasibility Requirements: Experience with demanding construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects Good understanding of the interface between design and site execution Ability to coordinate and guide collaboration among different parties Experience working with large organizations and multiple stakeholders Clear and precise reporting skills Proactive, solution-oriented, and responsible work attitude Willingness to work in Luleå on a long-term project Proficiency in Swedish Preferred qualifications: Experience with large industrial, energy, construction, or investment projects Previous experience working in Sweden Technical educational background, e.g., in construction, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or project management Experience in EPCM, client, design, or contractor environments We offer: A long-term and significant project in Luleå A responsible role at the interface of site, design, and implementation Opportunity to work with large organizations and demanding projects Support from OakWood during the project Competitive contract terms based on your experience and background About OakWood: OakWood provides project management, site services, and equipment rental for the construction and process industries across Finland and the Nordic countries.
