We are looking for care assistants for wage-subsidized employment at Puistola Service Home. The work includes home care tasks such as laundry and dish maintenance and other assisting tasks. The tasks also include accompanying residents to various events in the house, outdoor activities and socializing with residents, and assisting in dining situations. The work is standing-oriented and includes physical tasks, such as unloading and shelving goods deliveries and transporting laundry and waste bags to storage areas and the waste room. In addition, we require: You are an unemployed job seeker from Helsinki and meet one of the following conditions: - you are 15-24 years old - you have reached 50 years of age - you have not completed a matriculation examination, a degree referred to in the Act on Vocational Education, or an equivalent foreign secondary education degree - you are entitled to an integration plan referred to in the Act on the Promotion of Integration - you have not been in gainful employment during the previous six months - as an unemployed job seeker, your chances of getting a suitable job have significantly decreased due to disability or illness. At least three years must have passed since the end of the previous wage-subsidized employment at the City of Helsinki before you can be employed again with a wage subsidy for the city.
