About the role As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and stability of Java microservices, primarily supporting mobile banking applications. This role involves comprehensive testing, release management, and close collaboration with an experienced development team to deliver robust solutions. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical skill set combined with a proactive, collaborative, and supportive mindset, along with excellent teamwork skills. You are offered - A role in an experienced, collaborative team where your insights into quality assurance are highly valued - An opportunity to take ownership of key processes and contribute to critical mobile banking services - Flexible remote working policy (2 days / week remotely) - Epassi lunch deduction Work tasks This role focuses on quality assurance for Java microservices, involving testing, release processes, and ensuring the reliability of critical mobile banking features. - Perform Java microservice testing and releases - Conduct REST API testing, verifying request and response integrity - Execute performance testing for various services - Monitor and verify production deployments - Collaborate with front-end QA for seamless UI integration - Take ownership of release process steps - Engage in ongoing quality assurance for new feature development We are looking for - Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar independent QA role - Advanced knowledge of Java, Spring framework, REST, and databases - Advanced knowledge of Splunk, Grafana, and performance testing - Experience in understanding and navigating complex release processes - Professional proficiency in English - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Proactive and ownership-driven attitude towards quality It is meritorious if you have - Previous experience in the financial domain To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Supportive - Stress tolerant - Goal oriented - Social - Responsible A credit check will be conducted for the selected candidate.
