South Savo Wellbeing Services Eloisa is seeking a licensed practical nurse for a fixed-term position in Home Care Mikkeli (South) from June 15, 2026, to December 6, 2026, or as agreed. Nursing skills are considered an advantage. We support our licensed practical nurses with further training in areas such as sample collection and wound care. You will have the support of a situation center for care needs assessment and safety issues around the clock. The customer is central in home care work, and collaboration among different professional groups enables the best service for our clients. We use Lifecare and Hilkka information systems and the RAI assessment tool for evaluating customer functional capacity. Qualifications include a relevant social and health care professional degree or a previous vocational qualification in the field, and registration in the Valvira professional register. Proficiency in Finnish, a valid driver’s license, and access to a car are required. Experience in home care and completed LOVE online medication training and exams are advantageous. The role requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per the Communicable Diseases Act §48 and a health statement regarding tuberculosis as per §55. A probationary period applies. From January 1, 2024, individuals working with the elderly must present an acceptable criminal record extract before starting work if the employment exceeds three months (Control Act 741/2023 §28).
