With new projects, we are now looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer in Turku or Espoo! As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will work on demanding product development projects where we design and implement embedded system solutions together with our clients for new products. Your role includes firmware development, hardware software requirements specification, architecture design, documentation, and active collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary development teams. Our projects are technically challenging entities where electronics, firmware, operating systems, and system integrations combine into functional and reliable hardware solutions. We develop solutions that have not been implemented before, allowing you to apply existing technologies in new ways and continuously learn about different operating systems, technologies, hardware environments, and operational models. In this senior role, you will significantly influence technical solutions, be responsible for large entities, and guide firmware projects through their various stages. Why Creo Center? We are seeking an embedded systems development expert with: Experience with wireless technologies and communication protocols Skills in programming languages (e.g., C/C++) Experience with operating systems such as Yocto Linux and FreeRTOS Knowledge of ARM Cortex processors and microcontrollers, such as NXP iMX, STM32, Nordic nRF, Microchip It is an advantage if you have experience with FPGA integration into embedded systems and electronic components. In addition to technical skills, we value constructive problem-solving ability and an analytical approach to work. You pay attention to details, and your precision is evident in both code and documentation. You can work independently as well as part of a larger product development team and communicate fluently with stakeholders in both Finnish and English.
