Clerk for Winter Season at Kittilä Airport - Airpro Oy - Kittilä, Finland

Join us for the Lapland winter season in clerk roles, emphasizing excellent customer service, close teamwork, and diverse customer interactions. As a departure control agent, you will work at check-in and gate areas, as well as assist travelers during arrival services. You will be part of a close-knit team performing practical and meaningful work at the heart of air traffic, enjoying the Lapland atmosphere. Training sessions will be held from October 26 to November 4 at the airport, followed by practical training. The basic course is unpaid, but you will receive extensive training and orientation, which will be beneficial later. Requirements for applicants: - At least 18 years old - Clean background (a basic security clearance will be conducted for selected candidates) - Fluent Finnish and English skills (training is in Finnish, daily work involves using English) - Problem-solving skills and customer service experience - Sufficient IT skills The employment is subject to privacy law in the workplace. A valid drug test is required as part of the employment screening. Check-in agent work can be busy customer service work at times. Success in this role requires resilience under pressure, initiative, and excellent teamwork and communication skills. Kittilä Airport has limited public transportation, so a car or other vehicle is necessary for commuting. The work begins in October-November and continues until March-April 2027. Salary follows the collective agreement for air traffic services. Passenger Service Agent: starting at €2,320.87/month + additional pay according to the collective agreement, averaging €300-600/month depending on shifts.
