Security and Safety Specialist - Oriola Finland Oy - Remote - Global

In this role, you will support daily security and safety operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety and security practices across the organisation. You will plan, coordinate, and execute safety and security trainings, drills, and exercises (including fire, evacuation, first aid, and security-related scenarios), as well as maintain and further develop related training content in Oriola’s e-learning platform. You will also participate in internal and external audits and support audit readiness within the areas of Security and Safety. Oriola is currently building a new logistics centre in Järvenpää, and this role is established to support the additional resource needs created by the project at the current site, while also contributing to the development and future operations of the new logistics centre. The position reports to the Security Manager Finland and includes extensive collaboration with different functions across the organisation and with external stakeholders. Primary responsibilities include coordination and implementation of safety, fire safety and site security practices, supporting development of physical security measures, participating in risk assessments, executing and supporting safety and security trainings, supporting compliance with legal requirements, internal policies and standards, monitoring training completion, handling observations and coordinating corrective actions, participating in audits, and supporting audit readiness. Relevant education in safety, security or related field is beneficial. Personal and experience requirements include minimum of 2 years experience in security and safety, experience in trainings, risk assessments, business continuity, construction or logistics projects, knowledge of fire safety legislation, physical security systems, hazardous goods, proficiency in Finnish and English, and Swedish as an advantage. Previous experience in the health industry is also an advantage. Other requirements include being structured, organized, safety-oriented, communicative, collaborative, proficient with Microsoft Office and AI tools, independent, documentation skilled, proactive, curious, and solution-oriented.
