Practical Nurse - Satakunnan hyvinvointialue - Pori, Finland

Temporary position for a practical nurse from August 10 to December 13, 2026, in Arvi Säkylä. Start as soon as possible according to agreement. Arvi units provide short-term social care services under the Social Welfare Act for the elderly, which can be either temporary or regularly recurring. The service may be provided as an assessment and rehabilitation period aimed at supporting home living and ensuring daily functioning. During the period, the client's functional capacity, rehabilitation potential, and safety of living at home are assessed. The client is supported and encouraged to be autonomous, and if necessary, new support services are arranged at home. The period may be relevant, for example, after hospital care, in acute crisis situations, or to enable respite for a caregiver. We expect enthusiasm for working with the elderly, a sense of responsibility, independence, and good communication skills. The work involves 3-shift work with a working time of 114 hours and 45 minutes over 3 weeks. The qualification requirement is a professional basic degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level qualification in the field. The professional competence must be verifiable in the Suosikki register. Applicants must present a criminal record extract suitable for working with the elderly. LOVE certifications are required for the job, but they can be completed at the start of employment. Interviews will be held in week 32.
