In elderly care services, in 24-hour residential care, a permanent practical nurse position is available, with the initial placement at Kultakämmen Alajärvi. Kultakämmen is a home for 40 residents. In 24-hour residential care, we emphasize a resident-centered approach, daily individuality, and meaningfulness. Also, everyday rehabilitation to maintain residents' functional capacity and resources, as well as high-quality end-of-life care, play a central role in our activities. We are seeking a worker oriented towards elderly care who values shared daily life with familiar residents and wants to utilize their personality and various skills in their work. In addition to good professional skills, we expect flexibility, the ability to work independently with clients, good teamwork skills, and a desire to learn new things. The work is in three shifts. The qualification requirement is a basic degree in social and health care, a practical nurse (in accordance with law 559/1994 or 817/2015). Registration with Valvira's register of social and health care professionals as a protected title professional is required. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required. Medication licenses and hygiene passport must be completed. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a task-specific salary of 2627.08 euros/month at the start of employment. A trial period applies to the employment. A certificate of health status and a criminal record extract in accordance with law 741/2023 § 28 must be presented before taking up the position. The selected candidate may be required to undergo a drug test. HYVAEP is a nicotine-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a certificate regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory tract as per section 55.
