We are looking for a beginner earthworks worker for our client company to perform versatile tasks in infrastructure and earthworks in the Tampere area. The position is suitable for someone with some experience in earthworks or construction, for example through internships, summer jobs, or previous work, and who wants to develop as a professional in the field. The job involves a variety of earthworks tasks according to the needs of the construction site. Your duties may include finishing excavations, assisting with pipe and well installations, manual excavation, using a compactor, assisting with measurements, moving materials, site protection and finishing work, and other earthworks tasks. The tasks vary depending on the progress of the project, allowing you to gain diverse experience alongside more experienced professionals. Work start dates are flexible according to agreement. Working hours are generally Mon–Fri from 7:00 to 15:30. Salary is based on your skills and experience: according to the collective agreement, €12.60–17.13/hour plus possible additional compensation. Requirements for employment: Valid occupational safety card, being of legal age, some experience in earthworks or construction tasks, good physical condition, energetic and eager to learn work attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid Tieturva 1 card, own car, and experience with pipe installation or using a compactor are considered advantages.
