HSE Manager - Kiilto - Lempäälä, Finland

We are looking for HSE Manager to be responsible for the overall management and development of health, safety, and environmental matters in our Finnish operations within the chemical industry environment. Your workplace will be in Lempäälä, but the role requires regular travel within Finland. We develop and manufacture chemical industry products and solutions for construction, industry, occupational hygiene, and consumer needs. As HSE Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and continuously developing our Finnish HSE activities. You will play a key role in strengthening the safety culture and ensuring compliance with legislation, permit conditions, and standards. You will work as part of an international HSE team and report to the Head of HSE. Responsibilities include acting as the organization’s occupational safety manager, maintaining and developing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, managing environmental permits, maintaining safety work and risk management processes, planning and delivering training, maintaining accident preparedness, handling safety deviations, ensuring chemical safety, acting as an expert in environmental and safety management in projects, and collaborating with authorities. We expect a relevant higher education degree, several years of experience as an occupational safety manager, experience in HSE roles in an industrial environment, good knowledge of ISO standards, strong risk management skills, good communication and training skills, fluent Finnish and English, systematic work approach, and experience with authorities and quality management is an advantage.
