Job Description
At Avery Dennison, we are "Making Possible." We are seeking a Production Machine Operator who is mechanically curious, takes ownership of their equipment, and thrives in a performance-driven environment. Located in the Greenfield industrial corridor, our facility is easily accessible from I-70, making it a quick 20-minute commute for talent coming from East Indianapolis, Shelbyville, or Anderson. If you are looking for a high-paying role outside the heavy traffic of Marion County, this is your next career move. As a Production Machine Operator of our manufacturing lines, you will lead machine operations, perform set-ups, changeovers, and monitor equipment to meet production targets. Troubleshoot and improve: identify root causes of malfunctions rather than applying "band-aid" fixes. Ensure precision: use tape measures and tools to maintain close tolerances and "zero-defect" quality. Drive safety and teamwork: prioritize a safety-first mindset and step in to help coworkers meet site goals. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Physical requirements include standing/walking up to 80% of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures. We provide comprehensive safety training and a safe working environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or other protected status. We require a pre-hire medical questionnaire and a background check. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.
