Job Description
The Espoo Parish Union is seeking two seasonal workers for Kellonummi Cemetery for a fixed-term contract until autumn 2026. The duties of the seasonal worker include general cemetery maintenance and grave care, such as weeding, raking, caring for flower beds, and mowing the lawn. The main task during the summer maintenance season is to restore and maintain private graves that the grave care fund and the parish union have taken over. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. We expect a proactive attitude, diligence, and the ability to perform outdoor physical work. Previous experience in gardening or horticulture is not required but will be considered an advantage. The salary is based on the church's general collective agreement for officials and employees; hourly wage 12.40-14.47 euros depending on experience. The weekly working hours are 38.25 hours. The work begins in August or as agreed and ends at the end of October 2026. The position includes a trial period.
