Senior Engineer - Etteplan Oyj - Remote - Global

For our location in Leverkusen, we are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer (m/f/d) for piping planning in plant construction, who will independently manage projects. Your tasks include: independent planning of plant layouts and piping concepts from initial idea through basic and detailed engineering to on-site implementation; coordination with related disciplines, clients, and external partners, possibly on-site; 3D modeling and reviews in common CAD systems; creation of technical documentation including reports, drawings, and specifications; cost calculation and support in offers; acting as a contact person for clients in project meetings and design reviews; monitoring compliance with safety standards. Your qualifications include: degree, technical training, or comparable qualification as an engineer (m/f/d); several years of solid experience in piping planning of process engineering plants; thorough knowledge of relevant standards and norms in piping; routine in preparing piping specifications, datasheets, and material selection; experience with overall plant concepts, layouts, and piping diagrams; knowledge of stress analysis and risk assessment of piping systems; confident handling of common 3D CAD systems for piping design, ideally with administrative knowledge; initial experience in team or project leadership advantageous; accustomed to liaising with suppliers and external partners, cross-functional teams; analytical thinking combined with clear, solution-oriented communication; high quality standards and willingness to take responsibility; excellent German and good English skills in speaking and writing.
