Vaalan Comprehensive School is hiring a fixed-term school supervisor for the period from August 10, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The qualification requirement is a professional qualification in school supervision or a comparable relevant degree. Employment terms are governed by the Local Government Collective Agreement (KVTES) and salary according to Vaalan municipality’s pay scale. The trial period is 4 months. The working hours are 35 hours per week. The duties include afternoon activity supervision and other possible guidance and monitoring tasks. We value teamwork skills, a child-centered approach, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Knowledge of neurodiversity or similar special expertise is considered an advantage. The selected candidate must submit an acceptable medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract related to working with children, issued under the Act (504/2002), no later than 30 days after the employment decision is received.
