In your role, you will work with international students, and fluent English skills are required for smooth teaching. The teacher's tasks focus on teaching related to basic qualifications in social and health care, guiding workplace learning, and assessing evidence. The teacher plans the learning process, prepares learning situations, guides individual learning, and assesses skills and learning in collaboration with students, other teaching staff, and participants in the learning process. Key responsibilities include guiding and supporting learning, pedagogical collaboration, and network cooperation. You have broad expertise in the health sector, service systems, and experience in online and blended learning implementation. Good collaboration and interaction skills help promote work community networks and develop teaching. Student- and work-oriented practices are central to your work. We require: - A formal qualification including a nurse's degree and a suitable higher university degree - Pedagogical studies - Good interaction and collaboration skills - Excellent Finnish and fluent English skills for teaching - An educational approach and strong pedagogical competence - Significant work experience in the SOTE sector and the ability to plan and implement work-based training - Good organizational skills - Good digital pedagogical skills - Commitment and a developmental approach to work - Flexibility and adaptability to change. Eligibility for the teacher position is determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998. If the qualification is lacking, the position can be filled temporarily for up to one year. If only pedagogical studies are missing and the candidate has been accepted to study these, they can be hired for 1-3 years.
