Are you starting your career as a machinist or do you have some experience? Join a skilled and ambitious team! We are looking for a motivated machinist for our client company for a full-time and long-term position in Pori. The role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career, but more experienced machinists are also welcome. The most important thing is enthusiasm and the right attitude. The work is day-shift, in a single shift. The work will start in August as a temporary employment through WorkPower, with the goal of permanent employment with the client company. Initially, the work focuses on manual turning, so basic skills in this area are required. As your skills develop, you will gradually also get involved in CNC machining with Heidenhain controls under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. The work is diverse, and we value a willingness to learn new things and take on different tasks in the workshop. You will have the opportunity to learn about sheet metal work, grinding, milling, and operating other machines – if something is new to you, we will provide guidance. This role offers the chance to develop your skills steadily and grow into a versatile machinist within a professional team. We expect from you: Education in machining or related field, some experience in the industry, especially basic manual turning skills, genuine interest in machining and a desire to learn broadly, precise and careful work attitude, good attitude and initiative.
