We are looking for a skilled welder for a medium-sized machine shop in Valkeakoski. Your tasks will include manufacturing various steel structures and assemblies/sub-assemblies. The parts are large, transportable with cranes and forklifts, but require millimeter precision. The materials are mainly stainless and acid-resistant steels, and only thick materials are handled. The work begins immediately once a suitable candidate is found, and full-time employment is available. The work is day shifts with flexible hours starting between 6 and 7 am. The employment contract is permanent with Henkilöstöliiga, and after the probation period, there is an opportunity to transfer to our client. Success in this role requires proficiency in welding bright steels (material group FM8) and MAG welding processes 135 and 136. Evidence of these skills includes completed welding certifications (which may be outdated). It is also important to be able to read drawings fluently. Additionally, we expect initiative, the ability to work independently and in a team, and a very precise work attitude.
