The role includes teaching and guiding vocational studies in the building services sector, especially responsible for recruitment training at the shipyard in the knowledge and skills workshops and workplaces. Qualification requirement: Qualifications and language skills requirements are determined according to the decree on teaching qualifications 986/1998 sections 13, 13d, and 17. Suitable candidates are those who have completed a relevant higher education degree, have completed at least 60 credits or 35 credits of pedagogical studies for teachers, and have at least three years of practical work experience in similar roles. For roles requiring special or specialized professional skills, a teacher with a relevant specialized qualification or other suitable education, along with 60 credits or 35 credits of pedagogical studies and at least five years of practical experience in similar roles, is also eligible. Qualification must be obtained before the application deadline. Applicants who have completed their degree abroad need a recognition decision from the Finnish National Agency for Education by the end of the application period. The role requires recent professional skills and practical experience in plumbing installation and industrial pipe welding. Knowledge of first aid training and fire safety and work safety card instructor qualifications are an advantage.
