Building Information Modeling Coordinator - A-Insinöörit Oy - Helsinki, Finland

We are currently seeking a Building Information Modeling Coordinator in Helsinki. As a Building Information Modeling Coordinator, you will facilitate smooth collaboration between construction and design, ensuring the functionality, compatibility, and usability of design models in demanding and varied projects. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure that design and implementation operate cohesively, act confidently as an expert, and present observations solution-oriented. Your tasks include expert duties as the BIM manager for architectural design projects and tasks related to building design. The projects are diverse, involving building design and land use, and you may also participate in site meetings and inspections. We welcome your skills and experience. You should have a relevant degree in architecture or building engineering and previous experience in similar roles. You must have participated as a BIM coordinator in multiple projects with high design complexity. Projects should be BIM-modeled in structural, MEP, and electrical design as well. We hope you have experience with Revit and Archicad design tools. Experience with interoperability of BIM models across disciplines and broad knowledge of different design software is an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required; on an international market, we are also interested in your ability to work in English. This is a part-time position, averaging 15-37.5 hours per week. Your workplace is located in the beautiful Kamppi area in Helsinki, close to major transportation links.
