Welcome to our team at Kittilä Home Care! We are looking for a registered nurse for a fixed-term position from June 22, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Home care is provided either in the client's home or through remote visits, tailored according to an individual care plan that considers the client's needs. Through home care services, we support the client's own resources and functional capacity in a multidisciplinary manner, enabling high-quality, safe, and meaningful living at home. The clients are mainly elderly individuals whose health condition requires special attention and multidisciplinary care. Practical nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team where everyone's contribution is valued. As a registered nurse, your role involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring client care and home care services. This includes comprehensive assessment of care needs, medication administration, and collaboration with and support for clients' relatives. Additionally, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support clients' functional capacity and ability to live at home. WHAT DO WE OFFER? WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE? - The right to practice as a licensed registered nurse. - Up-to-date medication management skills or the ability to complete training at the start of employment. - A valid driver’s license and the ability to use your own car. In Kittilä Home Care, we utilize various technologies, such as medication automats as part of medication management. We use the Lifecare patient information system and the Hilkka mobile app for documenting client visits. Previous experience with these systems, RAI assessments, and preparing care plans is appreciated. The terms of employment are governed by the SOTE agreement. A trial period applies, with a maximum of half of the employment duration for fixed-term contracts. We follow the vaccination requirements mandated by the law and infectious disease regulations.
