About the role In your work as an expert, you will have the opportunity to perform simulations of power plants and battery energy storage systems in accordance with the grid code, as well as related calculations. You can work completely remotely, but still be part of the professional work community of the client company. Sitema has offices all over Finland and you are also welcome to work on site at our locations. You are offered - Comprehensive orientation and the opportunity to work remotely - Flexible working hours - The opportunity to become part of a warm, professional and supportive work community - The opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing company that supports individuals' career paths Work tasks The role involves technical simulation and modeling work to ensure that power plants and storage systems meet national grid requirements, involving heavy collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. - Simulations and related calculations of power plants and battery energy storage - Testing and verification of simulation models provided by the power plant supplier - Collaboration between different stakeholders We are looking for - Advanced knowledge of grid codes KJV2018, VJV2018 and SJV2019. - Basic experience with simulation software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, or Power Factory. - Degree in Electrical Power Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). - Fluent communication skills in English. - Experience in power grid simulations or similar technical roles. It is meritorious if you have - Fluent communication skills in Finnish - Background in electrical design for wind, solar, or battery storage systems. - Experience in grid dimensioning and infrastructure design.
