Part-time teachers (substitute), biology and health education / Tampere Classical High School - Tampereen seudun ammattiopisto Tredu - Tampere, Finland

We are seeking a full-time biology and health education teacher for a substitute position at Tampere Classical High School from August 10 to September 25, 2026. The teaching includes 1 x BI1 course, 2 x TE1 courses, and one half of the biology review course for graduating students (total 3.5 teaching hours). The candidate should have strong pedagogical skills and good teamwork abilities. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of the subjects taught. The candidate will work in a motivated subject team and receive support from colleagues. Qualifications are based on the Decree on Qualifications for Teaching Staff (986/1998, Section 10). In temporary positions, if qualified applicants are unavailable, other suitable candidates, such as students nearing the end of their studies, will be considered. Experience in different learning environments and digital skills are advantageous. Before starting, the candidate must present a criminal background check as per section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
