Site Reliability Engineering Manager - Immense Group - Remote - Global

The Manager of Site Reliability Engineering is responsible for the availability, performance, and operational integrity of Immense Studio's game platform and production infrastructure. This role bridges engineering and operations. It ensures that the systems underpinning our game portfolio are reliable, scalable, and observable, and that the team has the tooling, processes, and culture to keep them that way. Working closely with backend engineers, game developers, QA, and third-party partners, the SRE Manager drives a continuous improvement mindset across platform reliability, deployment practices, and incident management. Responsibilities include owning platform reliability and operations, establishing and monitoring SLOs, maintaining platform health, leading incident response, owning CI/CD pipelines, managing integrations, planning upgrades, leading team development, resource planning, acting as escalation point, and stakeholder communication. Requirements include a degree in Computer Science or related discipline, proficiency in Python, knowledge of PostgreSQL, experience with CI/CD, leadership skills, excellent communication in English, understanding of networking, experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and proven experience in SRE or DevOps. Nice to have skills include experience in iGaming, third-party integrations, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
