Job Description

The Lapland Police Department has a fixed-term official position open for an Investigation Secretary. The position is located within the regional crime prevention unit of the Lapland Police Department's crime prevention sector. The primary duties of the position include tasks supporting investigations in foreign investigations. The duties also include supporting other investigating units and general crime prevention support tasks, such as sending preliminary investigation reports to the prosecutor and delivering investigation decisions to the parties involved, maintaining contact with stakeholders, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor. The role is primarily independent but requires cooperation skills and the ability to work meticulously in a fast-paced environment. The place of work is the Rovaniemi main police station or the Kemi police station. If the place of work is Rovaniemi, the position requires regular travel to the Kemi police station.
