Job Description
In the employment and growth services of the City of Tampere, we promote responsible employment, entrepreneurship, and economic policy. We facilitate the creation of new businesses and support the growth of existing companies, ensuring the availability of skilled labor both nationally and internationally, and developing workforce skills. We are responsible for the employment services in the Tampere region in accordance with the regional cooperation agreement. We perform tasks mandated by law for the employment authority and tasks related to promoting integration. Our work is characterized by boldness, a desire to develop, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a permanent position in Employment and Growth Services. The position is located within Regional Services. The workplace will be agreed upon with the selected candidate and may be in one of the following municipalities: Akaa, Juupajoki, Kangasala, Kuhmoinen, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Pälkäne, Ruovesi, Urjala, Valkeakoski, Virrat, or Ylöjärvi. The start date will be agreed upon. As a Customer Service Representative, your task is to promote the availability of labor for companies and employers by ensuring quick employment for job seekers. You will be familiar with local labor market skills, needs, and requirements. You will be responsible for a service package that promotes employment, including identifying clients' employment conditions, skills, and service needs, job placement, coordinating training solutions and services, and maintaining customer relationships. You will actively engage with job seeker clients and offer concrete solutions towards employment at each contact, addressing the client’s situation as needed. The focus of the role is on information, guidance, initial job search services, and telephone services in the region. Good proficiency in Finnish is required for successful performance. A higher education degree is a prerequisite. Experience and/or familiarity with: - The Tampere region's labor market, skill needs, and work facilitation approaches - Multichannel customer service work and customer relationship management - Demand-driven, goal-oriented, and customer-focused service products - Networked collaboration with other actors. Additional skills in English and Swedish are considered an advantage. Please attach copies of qualification certificates to your electronic application via Kuntarekry. The selected candidate must provide a health certificate before starting the position, based on the law (304/2003, Section 7). We use a six-month probationary period for permanent positions. The salary consists of a base pay of €3,133.48/month, experience-based supplements, and other possible allowances. Interviews will be held in August.
