Job Description
In this fixed-term position, you will directly influence people's work and functional capacity at Varha's locations, primarily at the Naantali workshop. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for guiding unemployed individuals in rehabilitative work activities according to individual plans. In your daily work, you will assess and monitor the progress of work activities and clients' work and functional capacity, support them towards education and employment, and strengthen life management and social participation. You will plan and develop the content of rehabilitative work activities, perform necessary documentation in the Lifecare client information system, and act in accordance with Varha's values: respectfully, responsibly, and professionally. You will primarily work at the Naantali workshop, but the role may include work at Raisio, Uusikaupunki, and Kaarina units, which requires traveling between locations and a driving license. Skills in Swedish and the possibility of using your own car are advantageous. What we offer you You will receive support from your supervisor and the entire team, as well as orientation to the role—regardless of your background. We offer opportunities to develop your skills through employer-organized training, influence over your work content and service development, and the chance to participate in group supervision. The job provides an opportunity to broadly impact clients' well-being and employment opportunities within Varha's region. What we expect from you We expect strong guidance skills, experience working with long-term unemployed individuals, and insight into work and functional capacity assessment and documentation. Flexibility, openness to change, the ability to plan and implement content for rehabilitative work activities, sufficient IT skills (e.g., Office tools), knowledge of the service network, and readiness for independent work and collaboration are required. Good Finnish language skills are essential. A background in education and guidance or extensive experience in outdoor work, sports, well-being, or cleaning tasks is considered an advantage. The qualification requirement for the position is a professional degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or a previous school-level qualification in the field. We will conduct interviews during the application period. Apply to do meaningful work and strengthen clients' pathways to working life at Varha.
