Job Description
Are you a university student looking for a paid internship where you can do meaningful work in the field of technology? Great, we might have the perfect opportunity for you to learn, develop, and influence! We are seeking a university internship student for the Talent Attraction team at the Technology Industry Association. During the internship, you will get to learn about advocacy, communication, and event coordination as part of a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team, where support is always available. You will help us communicate about the opportunities in technology studies and the tech industry to principals, teachers, and students in primary and secondary schools. Your tasks include maintaining contact with schools and updating contact information in CRM, delivering materials and coordinating logistics, organizing and participating in events and school visits, supporting advocacy communication, and assisting in compiling, scheduling, and technically finalizing the openness report as part of our advocacy team. Additionally, you will develop your communication, organization, and collaboration skills and learn how advocacy work is done to build the future of the Finnish technology sector. We hope you have an initiative-driven and energetic approach, good interaction skills, interest in the tech industry and educational influence, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and proficient use of digital tools (e.g., Office 365, Teams, CRM, and generative AI). This role suits university students from various fields, and previous experience is not necessary. The internship details: we will select one intern. The application process includes an interview on June 22, and the final decision will be announced in June. The role requires fluent Finnish and English skills, and English proficiency is an advantage. The salary is 2000 euros per month. Location: The Technology Industry Association office in Helsinki (Eteläranta 10). Partial remote work is possible. Duration: August 10, 2026 – December 31, 2026. Full-time (38 hours/week).
