Job Description
The Finnish Cultural Foundation is a nationally operating private foundation that promotes a diverse and sustainable society, advocates for science, art, and culture, and encourages future talents to achieve breakthroughs. The foundation's seventeen regional funds cover the entire country. We are currently seeking a producer to oversee stakeholder and audience event implementation across Finland. Event types include, for example, the Foundation's annual celebrations, Science & Art evenings, discussion forums, and culture defense courses. You will be responsible for the entire production process, from content planning to practical execution. You are capable of conceptualizing and developing various events and ensuring the successful delivery of productions of different sizes. You have experience working with diverse audiences and skills in event marketing and contract preparation. You are responsible and reliable in your work. You are proactive, results-oriented, and eager to learn new things. Previous experience in science, art, or culture is considered an advantage. You have a suitable education and proven skills in maintaining and developing your professional competence. You speak and write fluently in Finnish and English, and also communicate in Swedish. Additional language skills are a plus. You are proficient with digital tools: besides MS Office, familiarity with Canva and Lyyt is preferred. Your interaction and teamwork skills are excellent. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until the end of June 2028. Your workplace is located in Helsinki city center, but the role requires some travel within Finland and occasional evening and weekend work. Remote work is possible occasionally. Your supervisor will be the Foundation's Development Director, and you will be part of our national event organizing team. You will receive support from our organization of 50 staff members. The employer, the Finnish Cultural Foundation, is stable and offers comprehensive employment benefits, training opportunities, and diverse, engaging tasks. The producer's salary ranges between 3700 and 3900 euros, but you may also propose a justified salary expectation. We hope you can start by August 2026 at the latest. We welcome applicants of different genders and individuals from linguistic, cultural, or other minority backgrounds. Selection may include positive discrimination for persons with different functional abilities. You may share your background in the application form. All information will be handled confidentially.
