We are now hiring staff for the current K-Citymarket Ylivieska for fixed-term contracts in the cashier department. Explore our department! K-Citymarket Ylivieska is transforming and moving into new, modern premises by the end of 2026. The new store will be built in the Taanila developing area, at a central location right at the intersection of main traffic routes, close to the city center, residential areas, and schools. The store will serve customers even better, but before that, we ensure that the daily operations in the current store run smoothly until the very end. Why should you come work with us? In your work at the cashier, you are often the last person the customer meets. Your duties include customer service, greeting, and handling purchases and payments smoothly at the checkout or self-service register. You ensure that customers get all their benefits, products are neatly displayed, and the store is cozy. We value close cooperation across departments. In practice, this means helping out at the cashier during busy times and assisting department staff to quickly showcase new products from the load. Skills that support your success include a heart for customer service, initiative, thoroughness, and a proactive attitude. Previous experience in similar tasks is a plus. You can work during store hours and are at least 18 years old. You can work in Finnish.
