Our staff are located in Finland in Vaasaa, Riihimäki, Tampere, Hämeenlinna, Helsinki, Pori, Lahti, Kotka, Kouvola, Joensuu, as well as in Östersund, Sweden. As an electrical designer, you will participate in electrical design projects in demanding industrial environments. The industry may include defense technology, energy, maritime, or other technology sectors. You will play a key role in project implementation or product development design, responsible for electrical system design and technical quality of implementation in collaboration with our clients. The role offers an opportunity to influence the development of high-tech solutions in an international environment. To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant higher education degree in electrical engineering (Engineer or DI), good electrical technical design skills, experience with electrical design tools such as EPLAN, E3, or Cadmatic, experience with document and version control, project team skills (scheduling, cost awareness, working in customer teams), proficiency in Finnish and the ability to communicate fluently in English; additional languages are an advantage. Additional skills that are considered an asset include design experience in the aforementioned industrial sectors, knowledge of control and safety systems and related instrumentation, knowledge of process automation and control systems, experience with electrical design in ATEX environments, and quotation calculation skills.
