Summer Communicator - Taipalsaaren kunta - Taipalsaari, Finland

We are looking for a fixed-term summer communicator for the period 1.7.-31.7.2026. This is a full-time employment. The summer communicator's tasks include various responsibilities related to the municipality's external communication, such as planning, implementing, and publishing content on the municipality's social media channels (Facebook and Instagram), photography, performing small layout tasks using Canva in accordance with the municipality's graphic guidelines, and updating the municipality's website as needed. Additionally, the summer communicator will monitor email inboxes related to tourism, social media messages, and manage the tourist information point. We expect the summer communicator to have: - Knowledge and understanding of different social media channels and their characteristics - An eye for and skills in creating visually appealing content - The ability to write engaging and understandable text - Interest in brand building and understanding the importance of tone of voice in social media communication - Initiative, idea generation skills, and creativity - Good IT skills and experience in website updates Your workplace will be at the Taipalsaari municipal office, but you will work throughout the Taipalsaari municipality, so a driving license is essential for performing the tasks. Employment terms are governed by the Local Collective Agreement (KVTES). The local base salary for the summer communicator is €2,115.53/month, plus any experience-based additional pay.
