In this role, you will teach primary and secondary school classes in close collaboration with special education teachers and class teachers. As a new teacher, you will be assigned a mentor teacher. Kilonpuisto School is located in the Leppävaara area, near Kilo station. It is a multicultural comprehensive school with approximately 700 students. In addition to general education, we offer specialized programs: bilingual Finnish-English classes for grades 1-9 and an arts emphasis for grades 7-9. Entry to these classes is through entrance exams. We also organize city-level special education for students on the autism spectrum. The base salary is determined by the applicant's education level. Teachers qualified for preparatory teaching in language and cultural groups receive an additional pay component based on job complexity.
