We are now looking for an experienced structural designer or project manager for new construction at our Turku office. Come build a better future with us! As an experienced designer, you will independently handle demanding structural design tasks with support from our staff and lead your own work confidently. Our design projects are diverse: from industrial and commercial buildings to schools, daycares, and possibly other project types. As a project manager, you will also lead the project team, and with your systematic approach, you can keep the project on track. You will participate in bid and contract activities for projects. Your final role will be tailored based on your experience and interests. As an experienced structural designer, you will act as an independent expert and/or lead a team on technical solutions and, as appropriate, also handle building supervision as a responsible structural designer. To succeed in this role, you need an inquisitive mind, precision, and a desire to demonstrate your expertise and develop. We hope you will be confident in showcasing your skills, possess good communication skills, and have an independent work attitude, along with a team-oriented mindset. We require a degree suitable for structural design (Bachelor of Engineering / Master of Science in Engineering), knowledge of old structures and building materials, and at least eight years of experience in renovation structural design. Our design software includes AutoCAD. Experience with Tekla Structures and FEM calculations is considered an advantage. We also value certified qualifications and/or the prerequisites to obtain them. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required; on an international market, we are also interested in your ability to work in English.
