Our Nordic Transactions team in Helsinki is growing rapidly, and we are now looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Valuation and Modelling team. The opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Valuation & Modelling team. You will support clients across the transaction lifecycle by delivering robust financial models, independent valuations, and data-driven insights to inform strategic and investment decisions. As a Senior Analyst, you will work on a wide range of transaction-related engagements across industries and client types, from listed companies to private equity-backed businesses and growth companies. The role offers exposure to complex M&A transactions, financial reporting valuations, and strategic advisory assignments, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Your key responsibilities As a Senior Analyst within Valuation and Modelling, you will be involved in: Valuations of businesses and individual assets for transactions, management decision-making, financial reporting and tax purposes Developing and reviewing financial models for M&A transactions, business planning, investment analyses and project financing Supporting clients across multiple industries and transaction situations Taking responsibility for defined workstreams and ensuring high-quality deliverables Coaching and supporting junior team members, while working closely with Managers and Directors Interacting directly with local and international clients and other advisors Skills and attributes for success What we look for Strong foundation in finance, consulting or private equity, with experience applying financial and analytical skills in practice Analytical mindset Structured thinking and problem-solving skills Strong excel skills Solid understanding of valuation theory and applications Knowledge of financials statements Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in high-performing teams Effective communication and presentation skills Ideally, you’ll also have Experience with data and automation tools (e.g. VBA, Power BI, Copilot Studio etc.) Industry knowledge of certain sectors (e.g. Energy and Infra, Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility, Technology, Telecom and Media etc.) Commercial mindset and understanding of transaction dynamics What we offer you At EY-Parthenon, you will gain exposure to high-impact transactions, work with experienced professionals, and benefit from continuous learning and career development opportunities in an international environment.
