Development Manager, Internal Logistics - IKH Oy - Kauhajoki, Finland

We are seeking a development manager for our logistics center in Kauhajoki to systematically develop our internal logistics operations, improve quality and efficiency, and renew operational models. In this role, you will influence warehouse performance, data-driven management, and the development of modern operational practices in collaboration with the operational organization. Role overview - Developing warehouse processes, systems, and operational models to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction - Optimizing core processes (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping), process flow, and throughput times using Lean principles - Utilizing data, reporting, and key figures for operational control - Developing warehouse layout, slotting, and space utilization - Planning and implementing development projects and deploying changes - Enhancing cost-efficiency, evaluating investments, increasing automation, and boosting business competitiveness - Close collaboration with the operational organization, management, and stakeholders This role is expert-oriented: you do not have direct personnel responsibility but play a key role in supporting and coaching managers and teams in development work.
