We are seeking a production worker for our client, whose role combines practical production work with light supervisory responsibilities. The position is in a wood industry production environment in Pori, where you will work as part of a small and efficient team. The position is permanent, and the vacancy will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Responsibilities include manufacturing wood products on the production line, operating and basic maintenance of machinery, daily production control and organizing work within your area of responsibility, ensuring smooth workflow together with the team, and monitoring quality and following safe work practices. Requirements include previous experience in production work, preferably in the forest industry or wood sector, ability to take responsibility and guide work during the shift, good teamwork skills and proactive work attitude, technical understanding and readiness to operate machinery, fluent Finnish language skills, and computer skills. We offer a permanent day shift with salary above the industry collective agreement level, opportunity to develop into supervisory roles, and a one-year fixed-term employment contract with the goal of transitioning to a permanent position after approximately 4 months.
