This parish pastor position primarily involves implementing inclusive church activities for adults, organizing various spiritual evening events, planning and executing small-scale event activities (such as market days at the square, themed evenings among parish members), managing practical cooperation with free church parishes, and organizing project-based events for adults, such as lecture series on different themes. The role is part of the community team, which is multidisciplinary and offers diverse spiritual activities for adults in the parish. The job includes general parish work and guiding two confirmation classes annually. Applicants are expected to have: - Cooperation and teamwork skills, - Expertise in parish work, - Development vision and ability, especially in parish work targeting adults, - Project-oriented work approach and readiness to work multidisciplinary, committed to the parish strategy. Experience and skills in organizing and implementing events are valued. Candidates must be confirmed members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The position requires a Master of Theology degree, excellent spoken and written Finnish skills, and satisfactory understanding of Swedish. The selected candidate must provide a satisfactory health statement and criminal record extract. The position is subject to a six-month probation period. The role requires mobility within the area and readiness to use a car for work tasks. The salary for the position is €3,510.89/month, plus experience-based additional pay.
