Procurement Engineer - Solidea Oy - Vihti, Finland

Vesala Oy, a Finnish electronics company based in Nummela, Vantaa, manufactures, imports, services, and sells high-end testing, measurement, and inspection equipment for copper and fiber optic networks. The equipment is used in infrastructure and fiber optic construction, telecommunications testing, surveying, and land measurement. To ensure production and delivery reliability, we are recruiting an electronics professional for the position of procurement engineer. Your tasks will include: Purchasing materials and manufacturing components for production; Managing the company's procurement and purchasing activities; Developing the procurement process; Planning production and procurement together with the production team leader. Requirements: At least a polytechnic degree (AMK); Work experience in procurement of electronic components; Knowledge of electronics manufacturing methods; Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP); Fluent written and spoken skills in Finnish and English; Experience with office software. Preferred but not mandatory: Electronics expertise and experience with design software; Additional language skills, e.g., German or French; Experience working in manufacturing; Experience with 3D printing; CAD 3D skills.
