Job Description
Sign Language Sector Cooperative Via is a nationwide cooperative with nearly 100 employees. At Via, there are sign language interpreters, written language interpreters, sign language and sign language communication teachers, as well as administrative staff. In addition to interpreting, we do translations for Finnish and Swedish Sign Language, international sign language, in Finnish and Swedish. Our services are widely available across Finland and remotely. Via is a social enterprise, with equality at the core of all work done at Via. Our goal is to find suitable interpreters and translators for every situation, and we invest in employee training, well-being, and work quality. Via was founded by interpreters themselves in 1999, and has been operating for over a quarter of a century.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of coordinators, plan future activities, and collaborate closely with regional managers, billing, and external clients and partners.
Requirements
- Relevant higher education degree and practical experience or training in leadership.
- Excellent prioritization skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment with many overlapping processes.
- Understanding of services for people with disabilities and interpreting services.
- Fluent Finnish and knowledge of English and Swedish.
- Knowledge of Finnish Sign Language or Swedish Sign Language and experience as a system administrator or developer is an advantage.
