Job Description

One position is a full-time employment in Raseborg's preschools and primary schools in Swedish. The other is a 90% position in Hangö's preschools, primary schools, and upper secondary education, in both Swedish-speaking and Finnish-speaking units. The work can be adjusted according to your life situation if needed, and part-time work is also possible. The psychologist in student welfare promotes students' mental and social well-being as well as learning, both as individuals and members of the school community. The tasks include community-oriented work aimed at strengthening the well-being of the educational institution, consultation, and multidisciplinary collaboration with students, families, and various networks. In individual work, you will work with psychological assessments and psychosocial interventions. The work is independent expert work, allowing you to plan and manage your own schedule. You can emphasize different aspects based on your professional interests. In Västra Nyland, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experienced student health professionals and a large community of psychologists. The position includes regular supervision and support from your psychologist manager and the Swedish-speaking team. The goal is to be Finland's best welfare area. Qualifications include being a licensed psychologist, with consideration for final-year students. Bilingualism and ability to travel by car are advantageous. The candidate must present a criminal record extract and may be asked for a drug test certificate.
