Workplace: Eura Municipality, Technical Department, Community Engineering, outdoor area worker The work area covers the entire municipality, with a base at Filppulantie 18a, municipal depot Working hours: general working hours 38.25 hours/week Mon-Thu 7:00-15:30, Fri 7:00-13:45 Time tracking with a time clock is used. Purpose of the task: Participate in all maintenance and care tasks of Eura municipality's outdoor areas, parks, park forests, public areas, street areas, playgrounds, seaside saunas, washing places, and sports facilities. Work under the supervision of the Head of Community Engineering and the municipal gardener. Maintain, service, and repair the equipment and machines used. Substitute for the municipality's outdoor tractor driver mainly operating the tractor. Required knowledge, skills, and qualities: Ability to independently handle assigned tasks and be proactive. Good physical condition. Ability to utilize knowledge and skills gained from previous jobs. Ability to work in a team and/or group within the work community. Ability to cooperate with stakeholders (residents, various municipal actors). Ability to work with different people. Fair treatment of residents (customers). Knowledge of maintenance, operation, and repair of machines and equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, chainsaws, brushcutters). Basic IT skills (e.g., recording leave, using intranet). Driver's license for car and tractor, and tractor driving skills. Ability to use tractor attachments such as a blade, snowplow, mower, sawmill, chipper, rear blade, front loader, etc. Either possess or complete the free Tieturva 1 course. Either possess or complete the employer-funded plant protection certificate. Most tasks are outdoor work. The position is permanent. Salary is based on the municipal technical staff TS scale. A six-month probation period applies. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must provide an acceptable medical certificate of health. Eura Municipality is a smoke-free environment, and smoking during working hours is prohibited. Impact of the tasks: The tasks significantly affect residents' living conditions and comfort, as well as the municipality's image and the impression of external residents, influencing the attractiveness of the municipality.
