Senior Nurse, Child Welfare Unit Nikkarinharju - Humana - Helsinki, Finland

We are expanding our operations and are looking for a senior nurse for the basic residential unit Oksa 2 at Nikkarinharju to implement safe and high-quality child welfare work. The role involves responsibility for the overall health care of the unit, focusing on mental health and rehabilitation, with a strong emphasis on mental well-being, self-esteem, and life management. The position is permanent and full-time, with working hours mainly on weekdays, but requires flexibility for occasional weekend or night shifts. The salary ranges from €2952.96 to €3331.25 per month, depending on experience. The role includes active participation in the unit’s daily life, supporting children’s individual resources, and collaborating with the team and external health services. The work is guided by the social services sector’s collective agreement. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, experience working with children and youth, especially in child welfare or psychiatric care, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
