We are looking for a cheerful and professional early childhood education professional to join our skilled team. We seek an enthusiastic and positive early childhood education teacher for our Harmotie Daycare Center. Harmotie Daycare Center is located in the center of Hakunila, on the ground floor of an apartment building. The daycare has two groups: Kuunsirpit and Auringonsäteet. Each group is staffed by a team of three employees. The position initially involves working with the Auringonsäteet group. Auringonsäteet is a group for children aged 1–5 years, with Siru and Tinja working as child caregivers. We have received much praise from substitutes, and people enjoy working with us. Our daycare offers diverse activity and learning environments both indoors and outdoors. We actively utilize the local environment, which provides excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, excursions, and learning in nature. We ensure daily play and playfulness in all daily activities for children. We work in small groups, which supports daily pedagogy and smoothness, as well as promotes a relaxed and calm atmosphere. We expect a professional attitude, a straightforward approach, and open and constructive interaction. You should be actively present in children’s activities as a pedagogical guide and a safe adult. Employment details: Qualifications: Early childhood education teacher (as per the Early Childhood Education Act) Terms of employment are governed by the Municipal General Collective Agreement (KVTES) Salary: 3129.71–3234 EUR/month (including August general increase). An additional 15 EUR/month is paid for those with a qualification meeting early childhood education teacher requirements, and 37.88 EUR/month for those with a Master’s degree in Education. Experience-based salary supplement of 3–8% applies. Required licenses: The selected candidate must present a valid criminal background check. For those working with children under school age, a tuberculosis certificate for the respiratory system will be checked (Communicable Diseases Act § 55).
