Student Assistant for HR Support - IF Insurances - Remote - Global

Would you like practical experience with HR in a large Nordic organization and work with real employee cases from day one? Do you thrive with responsibility, structure, and collaboration? This is a student job offering solid insight into HR in practice. You will gain broad understanding of HR administration and good development opportunities, especially if you aim for a career in HR. You will be part of the HR Support team supporting employees and managers across the organization with contracts, salary, absence, and HR processes. You will quickly become an important part of daily operations and work with optimizing processes and systems, including Workday, our HR system. Your main tasks include maintaining employee data in Workday, preparing contracts, handling parental leave and long-term sick cases, responding to employee and manager inquiries about salary, vacation, and parental leave, supporting and improving HR processes, and handling ad hoc HR tasks. The position is based at If’s Danish headquarters in Ballerup, with an average of about 15 hours per week, scheduled flexibly around your studies and exams. We provide thorough training, even if you have no prior experience with Workday. You should be well underway with a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, curious, proactive, and capable of handling sensitive employee data professionally. You should work structured, detail-oriented, service-minded, and communicate fluently in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
