Hotel Shift Manager for Vierumäki Sports Oy - Vierumäki Sports Oy - Heinola, Finland

Vierumäki companies hold the EcoCompass environmental certification. We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented shift manager to join our team. As a shift manager, you will be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the hotel, customer experience, and guiding the team during your shift. Key responsibilities include leading the shift and supporting the team, operational customer service at the reception, handling exceptional situations and challenging customer service scenarios, induction of new employees and interns, shift planning and coordinating absences, managing accommodation resources (including overbooking situations), handling complaints, and collaborating with different departments and support functions. We expect relevant education and experience in a similar role and customer service, good customer service and interaction skills, initiative, Finnish and good English skills, stress tolerance, decision-making ability, serving and hygiene certificates, and experience with hotel reservation systems and office software.
